Overview
Your developer configures the Givebutter webhook and API credentials so NOMA Sync can receive donations and events. Once that’s done, you use the Dashboard to map campaigns to LGL and verify syncs.
What you do in the Dashboard
1. Campaign mapping
- Log in to the Dashboard → Mappings.
- Set type defaults (e.g. donation → Unrestricted Fund, ticket → Event Fund).
- Add campaign overrides for specific Givebutter campaigns that should map to specific LGL funds.
- Use Refresh to pull the latest Givebutter campaign list.
Details: Campaign Mapping.
2. Verify
- Make a test donation (or use a small real one) in a Givebutter campaign.
- Open Dashboard → Syncs, filter by source Givebutter.
- Confirm a new row with status success and the correct amount/campaign.
- Check LGL for the new constituent and gift.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | What to do |
|---|---|
| Donation not in LGL | Check Syncs for a failed row; fix mapping or error; resync if the UI allows. |
| Wrong fund in LGL | Update type default or campaign override in Mappings, then resync or wait for next donation. |
| Duplicate constituent | Normal — the system matches by email and adds the gift to the existing constituent. |
