Overview

Your developer configures the Mailchimp webhook (and optional API credentials) so NOMA Sync can receive unsubscribe and list events. Once that’s done, you use the Dashboard to map lists and tags and to verify syncs.

What you do in the Dashboard

1. List and tag mapping

1. Log in to the Dashboard → Mailchimp Settings.
2. Configure list mapping — which Mailchimp list(s) correspond to which LGL or internal list (e.g. for unsubscribe handling).
3. Configure tag rules — how Mailchimp tags or list membership map to LGL tags or constituent updates.
4. Use Test (if available) to verify the connection.

2. Verify

1. Unsubscribe a test contact in Mailchimp (or trigger a cleaned event).
2. Open Dashboard → Syncs, filter by source Mailchimp.
3. Confirm a new row with success (or inspect the error if failed).
4. Check LGL that the constituent’s newsletter tag was updated or removed as expected.

Troubleshooting

Issue	What to do
No sync on unsubscribe	Ask your developer to confirm webhook URL and that Mailchimp is sending events; check Syncs for failed rows.
Wrong tag in LGL	Adjust tag rules in Mailchimp Settings; confirm constituent is found by email.
401/403	Ask your developer to check webhook secret and Mailchimp API key.
